Allen hails from Enterprise, Alabama, and graduated from Enterprise High School. Upon graduation, he served in the United States Army as a mechanized infantryman. Following the completion of his military commitment, Allen earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Auburn University in 2000.
During his career in the information technology spectrum, Allen worked as an administrator of distributed systems and applications at the Judicial Data Center located at the Supreme Court of Alabama. There, he provided network and system access to the judicial circuits located throughout the state. Prior to attending law school, Allen’s career progressed to an analyst with a major credit card processor where he helped deliver software solutions to the financial industry throughout the United States and Europe.
While working for a Fortune 200 insurance carrier where he rose through several positions ranging from analyst to project manager, Allen made the bold decision to go to law school. After commuting several nights a week for four years after full days of work, Allen graduated from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in 2008.
Allen is married and has two children.
